Privacy policy
Last updated 6 November 2026
The short version: the app does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
Who we are
CeMAP Trainer is a study app for the CeMAP mortgage adviser qualification. It is published by Susannah Evans, who is responsible for your data under this policy. To get in touch, please email: [email protected].
What stays on your device
Your answers, scores and progress are stored only on your phone, in the app's own storage. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them. You can also clear them at any time under Settings, then Reset all progress.
Purchases
If you buy full access, the payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your name, card details or any other payment information. The app only learns from the store whether your store account has bought full access, so it can unlock the app and restore the purchase on a new device.
Emails you send us
If you use Report a problem in the app, your mail app opens a new email to us. If you send it, or email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix the problem you reported, because we have a legitimate interest in answering you and keeping the app accurate. We do not add you to any mailing list.
We delete support emails once they are dealt with and no longer needed, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. This is necessary to run the website. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Links to other websites
Each question links to its public source, such as the FCA Handbook or GOV.UK. Those pages open in your browser and are covered by the privacy policies of the sites that publish them.
Your rights
Because the app collects no personal data, the only data we may hold about you is an email you have sent us. You can ask to see it, correct it or have it deleted by emailing us. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK.
Children
The app is intended for adults studying for a professional qualification.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
